Admission requirements

University admission requirements vary according to the course and the university you choose including:

  • Qualifications, subjects and exam grades. These are usually A Levels or similar, such as Foundation courses. You can choose to study either A Level or Foundation at one of our colleges
  • Your suitability. Course descriptions often mention skills, interests or experience it’s good to have. So look out for these details because applications can be quite competitive. Our enrichment activities add to your skills and interests to help with your application
  • If your course requires an interview we coach you on what to expect. This will give you the best chance of securing a place at your preferred university
  • Further requirements. It’s possible there may be health, financial or security checks. Our experienced support staff can guide you through the whole process. We make sure you have completed every necessary part of your university application.

International student admissions

  • English language skills. You might need a particular level of English language for a university course. We can help you find out the requirements and give you extra English language tuition if you need it
  • Student visa. If you live outside the UK and are not an EEA or Swiss national you might need an English language test, this must then be approved by UK Visas and Immigration.
