Why study our Foundation programme?

Studying our Foundation programme is a great way to immerse yourself in a subject you are passionate about. During this one-year programme, you will prepare for your degree course by developing extensive academic knowledge, English language level and study skills.

  • You’ll receive up to 8 offers of conditional progression from top UK universities with selected Foundation subject pathways.
  • You can choose from 11 subject pathways, each accredited by the top-ranking Lancaster University and all offering our high-quality teaching. Foundation classes are small, with an average of 10-12 students.
  • Our Foundation programme provides progression routes to more than 80 universities and 1,700 different degree courses including top ranking and Russell Group universities.
  • Benefit from AES Acceptance in lieu of IELTS for entry to top universities.
  • We offer a wide choice of structured enrichment activities to develop your interests and learn additional skills.

GCSE

GCSEs are taken as a course of study before taking A Levels or a Foundation pathway. If you want to study at a UK university, getting the right GCSE grades will set you off on the right course.

English Language Preparation

If you don’t meet the English language entry requirements for the GCSE, A Level, Foundation or UG1programme, you can study one to three terms of English speaking and writing to help you get there.
