Specialist science and engineering college in the heart of a world-class university city
Bellerbys College has today announced it will be closing Bellerbys College Cambridge on 31 August 2020. Activity at the College site will scale down during this term and cease by 12th June 2020.
The closure at the end of this academic year is due to facility challenges that are unique to Bellerbys Cambridge and include the expiry of its lease on Manor Park, the main accommodation provision. The decision to close is not a reflection of the academic outcomes or general performance of the College.
Due to the Covid-19 situation, all of our current students at Cambridge are now studying online, and are being supported individually on the right future study plan for them. All students have been provided with a number of study options to transfer and continue their studies with Bellerbys Brighton as and when the situation allows, with no increase in costs in relation to tuition fees. Bellerbys is committed to ensuring the best possible academic outcome for all our students and will continue to deliver their usual outstanding academic and student support.
Bellerbys College Brighton and Bellerbys College London will continue to operate as normal.
Mike Everett, Chair of Bellerbys College Advisory Board said:
“Bellerbys College provides a high-quality British education that’s tailor made for international students and trusted by universities. Bellerbys Cambridge has been an integral part of our commitment to prepare international students for university in the UK.
Due to operational challenges, we have today, agreed to close Bellerbys College Cambridge at the end of this academic year.
