Living in homestay accommodation gives you a great opportunity to experience British culture. Stay in an English home and practise speaking English with native speakers every day. Bellerbys offers a range of different Homestays to suit your needs. You could live with a family with children, a single person, or in a home hosting other students like you.
All Homestay accommodation is carefully chosen for its security and friendliness. We make regular visits to make sure you have everything you need. Experience living in the heart of the city, no more than 30 minutes’ walk or a short bus journey away from the College.
You will be matched to your homestay by your personal profile and your preferences. Families interested in hosting students apply directly to Bellerbys College.
This option is for students aged 13-15. Homestay Plus gives you the extra support and supervision you'll need as a younger student.
For students aged 16 and older who want to live independently, with the support of a caring home environment.
Arranging your own accommodation privately
If you are booking your own accommodation privately it is important that you let us know where you are staying.
Look out for fraud
Scammers may specifically target international students so it is important to be able to recognise common signs of fraudulent activity and know what to do if you come across it. Let us know at email@example.com if you have any concerns about fraudulent activity when dealing with a private accommodation provider so that we can help to protect you and other international students in case they are targeted in the same way.

"Bellerbys staff are very friendly. In my opinion, the best thing at Bellerbys which I couldn't find in anywhere else is the student service . I don't feel homesick when I am with the welfare team because they take care of me and send me to GP when I am not well.''
