Loughborough University is ranked 5th place in 2020 Times Higher Education ‘Table of Tables’ as well as 7th place in The Times/The Sunday Good University Guide 2021. They are also winner of University of the Year at Whatuni? Student Choice Awards 2020. Loughborough’s School of Business and Economics is Triple Accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA), an honour held by 100 business schools worldwide.

Loughborough University adds to a growing list of progression partners ranked in the top 20 of UK universities including Durham University, University of Bath, Lancaster University, University of Bristol and University of Birmingham.

Charlie Carter, Director, International Office, Loughborough University says:

“I’m delighted that we have entered into a progression agreement with Bellerbys College. This partnership enables both Bellerbys College and Loughborough University to provide enhanced support to students throughout their university application journey, giving reassurance and confidence to students and their families. Loughborough University has been welcoming Bellerbys students for many years and we look forward to more Bellerbys students joining our campus in the future.”

Bellerbys is also delighted to announce a guaranteed progression partnership with University of Sussex, another top 50* university, for students who achieve the required grades. This gives students the same opportunity for progression as those studying a Foundation programme on the university campus. Sussex will provide students on the following 6 subject pathways with guaranteed conditional offers to identified degree programmes providing they apply through UCAS:

  • Business
  • Engineering
  • IR/Politics
  • Law
  • Science and Pharmacy
  • Social Sciences

Professor Richard Follett, our Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor and Associate Vice President (International) gave the following tribute to Bellerbys:

“The University of Sussex has a long history and successful collaboration with Bellerbys College. Every year, we create the opportunities to engage with each other, and Sussex receive many talented Bellerbys graduates to come to Sussex for their further degree studies. Being located in Brighton has certainly helped both institutions to bond. We look forward to working with Bellerbys more closely and presenting a coherent and positive experience for our common students.”

The quality of the Bellerbys Foundation programme is further demonstrated through the growing number of universities which accept their Academic English Skills (AES) in place of an IELTS exam as well as being formally recognised by an additional 115 universities with mapped progression to 83 universities, offering over 7,000 progression degrees to their students.
