Aliyu Yahaya

Aliyu has a dual role at Bellerbys Cambridge - by day he is an I.T. Teacher and by night he is a Warden at one of the student residences, Tripos Court.

Aliyu completed an MSc at the University of Brighton.  It was whilst studying here that he first heard about Bellerbys College - friends of his younger brother were studying at the Brighton college.

On joining Bellerbys Cambridge, Aliyu's first impressions were that it was a good place to work and that the staff were helpful and hospitable. "We all work as a team irrespective of departments and classifications.  There is effective communication between teaching staff, administration and management.  The standard of teaching and grading is high and we are able to help students at all times."

Aliyu says he gets on well with members of staff as well as the students.  "As Bellerbys is a multicultural environment, I relate with people from different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.  The staff are very supportive and the students willing to learn, so together we create a perfect student/staff Bellerbys community."
