Iliyas Issatayev

Top grades in no less than six subjects (Accounts, Economics, Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Russian) meant that  Iliyas Issatayev, 19, was the most successful of Bellerbys' students in 2007.

It also meant that he had confirmed his place to study at the very popular and highly regarded London School of Economics.  Iliyas felt that easy access to 'any sort of information' was one of the best things about living in the UK.  'I found my person tutor, Dr. Butcher, most helpful when I applied for university and my classes were extremely interesting and often inspiring.'

Richard Bowen, Head of Economics at Bellerbys Brighton, noted that 'Iliyas has the kind of enquiring mind and determination that suggest he will do very well at LSE and in his future career.  We wish him all the best for the future.'
