An intensive one-year Business programme leading to direct entry to the second year of an undergraduate degree
The Bellerbys Diploma in Business and Management is designed for academically-qualified students who are seeking to maximise their potential to enter a top UK university. This programme is an advanced one-year course of study equivalent to the first year of an undergradute degree.
Successful completion provides direct progression into the second year of an undergraduate degree at a selection of UK universities that includes:
Anglia Ruskin University, Aston University, University of Brighton, De Montfort University, Durham University, University of Essex, University of Hertfordshire, Liverpool John Moores University, Oxford Brookes University, Northumbria University and University of Westminster.
Excellent guidance and support for students heading to a British university life
The Diploma provides you with the relevant academic knowledge, study skills and English language profiency to succeed as a second-year degree student. You'll study in small groups ensuring lots of personal attention from your tutors. You'll also get taster of what life is like in England and inside British classrooms before starting university.
The course consists of twelve modules, ten of which are assessed by coursework and two by unseen examination (marked with *):
Business Environment, Business Decision Making, Management Professional Development, Managing Communications, Knowledge & Information, Managing Financial Resources & Decisions*, Managing Activities to Achieve Results*, Marketing, Organisations & Behaviour, Research Project, Working with and Leading People, plus two further subjects from Academic English, Economics and Law.
Each term you'll study four subjects and you'll have four hours of lectures each week for each of the modules being studied. In addition, a minimum of 20 hours of self study per week is expected. Extra IT and English support is provided if needed.

Supervision Plus - optional support for Bellerbys students at university
We understand that settling into a new life at university after graduating from Bellerbys can be difficult for some students. For this reason, we are now offering a new, optional academic counselling service called Supervision Plus to help those students adjust in their first terms at university.
Students graduating from the Diploma in Business and Management to a British university can sign up for this optional service at the beginning, during or at the end of their studies at Bellerbys.
