Yuan Jiang

As a child, Yuan Jiang, 19, became fascinated by plants from helping her mother in the garden.  She has now won the chance to study Botany at Imperial College, London, after achieving A grades in her A Level studies in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics at Bellerbys Brighton.

She also showed herself to be a good photographer also gaining an A grade at AS Level in Photography in her final year.

'Yuan is a natural scientist with a real gift for Biology,' commented Becky Webber, Head of Biology at Bellerbys Brighton.
