18 year old Nithya Sivakumer, from Singapore, joined Bellerbys Brighton in April 2008 in order to follow a five-term A Level course which she completed very successfully.

She has won a place to study Medicine at St. Andrews University as she has grades AAB in A Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

Becky Webber, Head of Biology, described Nithya as, 'A very bright student who sets high standards for herself.  She works very hard and is always cheerful and optimistic.  I think she will make a wonderful Doctor!   I congratulate her on her success!'

Nithya has a range of interests including ballroom dancing and Tamil literature.  Her ambition is to specialise in a medical field and to contribute her own discovery to the medical world.
