In Oxford we specialise in teaching art, humanities and law to students aged 15+.

This is our smallest College, which has a very friendly and caring family feel. Our modern, purpose-built College offers students the opportunity to learn from visiting lecturers in our state-of-the-art facilities. This includes a library, three dedicated art studios, a dark room, an editing suite, a film studio, a media studio and a print room – all filled with the latest technology to provide the very best learning experience.

Many of our students aspire to progress to top a UK university and many succeed.

Through our distinctive Bellerbys Way ethos, we adapt our teaching style and British curriculum to the needs of international students.

We are especially proud of our student achievements:

  • In 2016: 75% of our A Level students received A*-B
  • In 2015: 45% of our A Level students progressed to top-15 UK universities (Cambridge, Imperial College, Durham, Warwick, Surrey, London School of Economics, University College London Lancaster, Bath and Loughborough)

    • 75% of our A Level students received A*- B compared to the national average of 53%
    • 67% of our students progressed to a top 50 UK university^
    2015 results
    • 45% of our A Level students progressed to Cambridge, Imperial College, Durham, Warwick, Surrey, London School of Economics, University College London Lancaster, Bath and Loughborough – the top 15 UK universities
    • 15 of our Foundation students have progressed to study Architecture at top universities including Sheffield, Kent, West of England, Northumbria and Nottingham 
    • 35 of our Foundation students have progressed to study Law at Nottingham, Durham, Bristol, Birmingham and Newcastle

    When you are away from home, it is important to feel safe, comfortable and happy. Bellerbys College Oxford offers a number of high-quality and convenient places to live during your studies.

    St Aldates

    For students aged 14 to 17

    This residence is located in the city centre, near to the River Thames and Christ Church Meadow and within easy walking distance of the College.

    • 59 single bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms
    • Breakfast and dinner are included (known as ‘half-board’)
    • Residence Supervisors on site 24/7
    • Shared common rooms and kitchenettes

    St Ebbes

    For students aged 18+

    This city-centre accommodation is just a short walk from the College. Being located in the heart of Oxford city centre means that St Ebbes can be a busy area day and night with the levels of background noise associated with such. Students choosing St Ebbes accept this aspect of a city centre living environment.

    Living in homestay accommodation gives you a wonderful opportunity to experience British culture, language, religion and home life. 

    We have many different kinds of homestay. You could live with a family with children, a single person, or even in a home hosting other students like you. 

    All homestay accommodation is carefully chosen for the security and friendliness it provides and we make regular visits to ensure you have everything you need. 

    Standard homestay

    For students aged 17+

    Choose our standard homestay option if you are 17 year's old and would like to live relatively independently, but with the support of a caring home environment. 

    Homestay Plus

    For students aged 15 and 16

    Homestay Plus provides the extra support and supervision you'll need as a younger student.

    Statement of Boarding Principles and Practice

    The College’s aim is to enable every individual to make the most of their abilities and to fulfil their potential, and it is accepted that much of what is valuable in education takes place outside of the classroom. The College therefore aims to provide a very full educational experience in the context of full boarding, including homestay. Such a programme can often make great demands on the pupils and staff involved so the College is committed to the highest levels of pastoral care.
