Accommodation

When you are away from home, it is important to feel safe, comfortable and happy. We take great care to provide a high standard of accommodation. You can choose either the supportive atmosphere of a host family (known as Homestay) or the flexibility of our on-campus student residences. Whichever you select, we will ensure you feel at home.

McMillan Student Village - (En-suite)

Situated right next to the college, the student village is shared with students from the University of Greenwich, Trinity College of Music and others. There is a designated block for students under 18 and this has 24-hour supervision.

Facilities include:

  • All rooms have private bathrooms 24-hour security and CCTV
  • Rooms for under 18s arranged in “flats” of six en-suite bedrooms with a shared kitchen/common room for each flat
  • Rooms for adults have kitchen facilities in the room (mini-studios)
  • A small number of twin rooms available on request
  • On site laundry room

Homestay

If you want to live a relatively independent life, but still have a caring home environment, Homestay is ideal.

Homestay gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the UK culture and to feel part of a family, eating meals with them, and sharing their lives to get a real experience of British life.

All Homestay accommodation is carefully chosen for the security and friendliness it provides and we make regular visits to ensure you have everything you need. We offer a choice of either single or shared rooms. All our hosts will warmly welcome you into their homes.

Activities

We believe that it is important for our students to have an active and enjoyable stay whilst at Bellerbys London and we are always looking for new ways to develop and expand the range and variety of activities available.

At Bellerbys London we have a student-run Student Union, modelled on similar organisations at most British universities. With the help of the Extra-Curricular Activities Coordinator, the Union oversees many of the colleges’ regular weekly activities. This provides a forum for students to get together to set up and run clubs and societies for themselves and other students.

Competitions

We encourage students to take part in both external and internal competitions and challenges. Our internal competitions include essay writing in Economics and Business Studies and a weekly maths challenge. Our students also take part in national competitions such as the Young Enterprise Challenge where students set up their own business, and the national Maths and Physics Olympiads.

Bellerbys Got Talent

Our annual Bellerbys Got Talent competition, held at a local entertainments venue, is an opportunity for our students (and staff) from around the world to showcase their varied talents.

Clubs

We have a large number of clubs and societies, most of which meet once a week after school, including the Economics Club, the Dance Club, the Philosophy Club, the Film Society, the Games Club and the Debating Society, just to mention a few!
