Charmmy (Lio Ka Ian)

"I’ve been in England for nearly one year now and it has been an adventure and a challenge, such as how to overcome culture and language barriers.  It was hard at first but I did not give up as the friendly teachers at Bellerbys and my homestay family are always encouraging me.  I never feel alone here!  Also, I really feel I am growing up and have more confidence than before.

I really like studying Biology and it would be nice to be a doctor or nurse or whatever job relating to Biology.  I do realise that I have to also be good at Mathematics and Chemistry in order to succeed in my ambitions.  I also love Art very much, and feel a release whenever I do painting.  My other study interests include psychology and engineering.  Who knows, maybe I’ll become a garden designer or a psychologist working in charity.  However, I’m still young and really enjoying studying many different things.  At Bellerbys College here in Oxford, I can do this."
