Where you will live in Oxford

When you are away from home, it is important to feel safe, comfortable and happy.  We take great care to provide a high standard of accommodation.  You can choose either the flexibility of our student residences (known as College House) or the supportive atmosphere of a host family (also known as Homestay).  Whichever you select, we will ensure you feel at home.

College House Student Residences

We provide residences of the highest quality at each of our four campuses.  Our facilities are more than just a place to stay.  Living in a Bellerbys student residence will give you a sense of independence.  You'll be part of a stimulating international community where you can comfortably live and learn.

College House options at Oxford

College House Ensuite single or shared bedrooms rooms are available in Oxford and benefit from en suite bathroom facilities.  All accommodation is self-catering.

Pensons Gardens - College House En Suite Self-Catering

Pensons Gardens is a self-catering residence for 12 students in an area called St. Clements, a lively area of Oxford with many restaurants, bars, cafes and cinemas, a fifteen minute walk from the city centre and the school.

Facilities include:

• 12 single bedrooms with private bathrooms
• Live-in Warden for any problems or queries
• Spacious well-equipped kitchen
• Cosy lounge with TV, video recorder and storage space for suitcases
• A second lounge for reading, relaxing and socialising

Elena House - College House En suite Self-Catering

Elena House is a self-catering residence for twenty students, located next door to our Pensons Gardens Residence and also a fifteen minute walk from Boswell House.

Facilities:

• 20 single bedrooms with modern en suite bathrooms
• Live-in Warden for any problems or queries
• Small terrace on the first floor
• Well-equipped kitchen on each floor to meet and socialise with other students

Blue Boar Street - College House Self-Catering

Located above our Blue Boar Street school, this residence offers single and shared self-catering accommodation for 17 students.

Facilities:

• Three single en suite bedrooms and seven twin en suite bedrooms
• Live-in Warden for any problems or queries
• A small kitchen is equipped with a fridge and cooking equipment
• Students have access to a washing machine and drying facilities
• The twin room residence has a common room with TV and video recorder

Homestay

Staying with a host family allows you to share in the daily life and experiences of a British family and immerse yourself in British culture.

Homestay provides:

• Comfortable clean homes which are regularly inspected
• Safety and security assured
• Welcome and supportive host families
• A choice of single or shared rooms
• A fully equipped study bedroom
• Two meals per day
• Access to a telephone to keep in touch with home

Homestay Options

Standard Homestay is suitable for older students who are confident of living relatively independently, but with the support of a caring home environment.

Homestay Plus families provide a higher level of support and supervision for younger students and is compulsory for students under the age of 16.

Both Standard Homestay and Homestay Plus are available at each of our centres.
