Rosie Montford

"Why do I do the job I do?  I love it!  I trained as a fine artist and love working with colour and in a sketchbook to develop ideas.  I try to pass this on to the students.  I help students to develop ideas towards an art specialism and to prepare a portfolio of work for university interviews.

The small classes at Bellerbys are great as I prefer to work in small groups where we can respond to each others' ideas and enthusiasm.  There is a very friendly atmosphere here at the college.

When I have time, I love to travel.  Last year I went on a trek in the Himalayas for Voluntary Services Overseas and was supported by both Bellerbys staff and students.

When in London, I would recommend students visit the many museums and art galleries, do lots of walking and take in the contemporary architecture and London parks."
