Chris Hovell

"I teach Business Accounting to Foundation and Masters Qualifying Programme students - it is a useful, practical subject as well as an interesting one.  Even though many Bellerbys may not plan to be accountants, a good knowledge of financial management will be an asset to them in any area of business.

Prior to coming to Bellerbys I worked in Hungary for 10 years with the British Council.  I returned to the UK as my wife and I wanted our daughter to grow up in London.  I like working here as I enjoy working in an academic environment.  Bellerbys is a relaxed, friendly environment for staff and students to work and study.

Outside of work I enjoy going to concerts - mainly jazz.  I would recommend that any student coming to London should buy Time Out magazine and look at the many concerts in the music section - pop, jazz and classical."
