Where you will live in London

When you are away from home, it is important to feel safe, comfortable and happy.  We take great care to provide a high standard of accommodation.  You can choose either the flexibility of our student residences (known as College House) or the supportive atmosphere of a host family (also known as Homestay).  Whichever you select, we will ensure you feel at home.

College House Student Residences

We provide residences of the highest quality at each of our four campuses.  Our facilities are more than just a place to stay.  Living in a Bellerbys student residence will give you a sense of independence.  You'll be part of a stimulating international community where you can comfortably live and learn.

College House options at London

At London, students can choose from single rooms with en suite bathroom facilities either on a half-board (College House En suite) or self-catering basis (College House En suite Self-Catering).

McMillan Student Village

Up to 250 en suite study bedrooms are available for Bellerbys College London students within the McMillan Student Village which is shared with the University of Greenwich, Trinity College of Music and others, and right next to our school.

Facilities:

  • Rooms are organised in three adjoining blocks, all with 24-hour security and CCTV
  • One block is designated for students under 18 and has 24-hour supervision and complies with National Care Standards Commission guidelines
  • All rooms are en suite and arranged in "flats" of six bedrooms with a shared kitchen/common room for each flat
  • Every room has a data access point so students can access the internet from their laptop (connection charge payable)
  • Half-board students take breakfast and dinner in the school cafeteria
  • Coin-operated laundry on-site

Homestay

Staying with a host family allows you to share in the daily life and experiences of a British family and immerse yourself in British culture.

Homestay provides:

  • Comfortable clean homes which are regularly inspected
  • Safety and security assured
  • Welcome and supportive host families
  • A choice of single or shared rooms
  • A fully equipped study bedroom
  • Two meals per day
  • Access to a telephone to keep in touch with home

Homestay Options

Standard Homestay is suitable for older students who are confident of living relatively independently, but with the support of a caring home environment.

Homestay Plus families provide a higher level of support and supervision for younger students and is compulsory for students under the age of 16.

Both Standard Homestay and Homestay Plus are available at each of our centres.
