"I spent most of my academic life in Malaysia and the rest of my high school years in Australia.  Honestly, the final years of my high school were not a pleasant one.  From an uprising student I was derailed, and my final result did not conclude to be a reasonable one.  Fortunately, I was granted a second chance to pursue my ambition of becoming a pharmacist.

A change of environment was necessary.  Therefore, the next country which gives equal or better standard of education was the UK.  The foundation course Bellerbys offers stood out compared to the rest.  First, it is a fast accelerated course therefore it maximizes the usage of time and minimizes the unnecessary course content.

Next, the Bellerbys Science Foundation Course is recognized by many prestigious universities in the UK.  With these factors, it appears that the Foundation Course Bellerbys offers will help to bring me one step closer to achieving my goal.  Then, I had the choice of Cambridge and London, but according to my father’s business partners, Cambridge is said to be a motivational place to study, being a place which is quiet, yet lively.

Despite talking with many that had been to Cambridge, I still had my doubts, will I make friends?  How will my life be?  These questions came into my mind.  I left Malaysia seeing my studies in UK as a blank sheet of paper, with the possibility that anything could happen.  After my arrival, I quickly adjusted to the life here, many friends were made.  In conclusion, it turns out that being in the UK, away from home could be a preliminary stage towards my future, in the aspect of independency."
