James McLaren

James, 19, was selected to follow the fast and demanding three-term A Level course in English Literature, History and Sociology.  As an aspiring actor, he was delighted to learn that he had achieved the grades required (AAB) to secure his place to read English and Drama at Queen Mary University, London. 

'I found Bellerbys a very enjoyable place to study with its small classes and very high teaching standards - I especially enjoyed my studies of English Literature which really sparked my interest in the subject'.

'James has a real talent for drama and poetry,' said Peter Corcut, the Vice Principal, 'I will look forward to seeing him on the stage or in films in a few years' time!  Well done James.'
