Where you will live in Brighton

When you are away from home, it is important to feel safe, comfortable and happy.  We take great care to provide a high standard of accommodation.  You can choose either the flexibility of our student residences (known as College House) or the supportive atmosphere of a host family (also known as Homestay).  Whichever you select, we will ensure you feel at home.

College House Student Residences

We provide residences of the highest quality at each of our four campuses.  Our facilities are more than just a place to stay.  Living in a Bellerbys student residence will give you a sense of independence.  You'll be part of a stimulating international community where you can comfortably live and learn.

Our Student Residence in Brighton

Student Village - College House En Suite

Spread over 7,100 square metres and five floors, our new on-site student residence is bright, attractive, secure and comfortable.  You'll be situated right next door to the college and in a vibrant, central part of the city.

The residence will consist of 375 College House En Suite single bedrooms and a few shared bedrooms.  Meals will be taken in the on-site restaurant. 

Supervision is in place all day and at weekends allowing us to accommodate students aged 14+. 

Students will move into the new residence in October 2007.

Facilities include:

  • 375 single rooms and 14 twin rooms, all with en suite facilities
  • Common rooms on each floor with plasma TV and snack machines
  • Internet cafe with 50 PCs
  • Restaurant with hotel-quality catering
  • Facilities for washing and drying clothes
  • Wireless internet access throughout the residence

Homestay

Staying with a host family allows you to share in the daily life and experiences of a British family and immerse yourself in British culture.

Homestay provides:

  • Comfortable clean homes which are regularly inspected
  • Safety and security assured
  • Welcome and supportive host families
  • A choice of single or shared rooms
  • A fully equipped study bedroom
  • Two meals per day
  • Access to a telephone to keep in touch with home

Homestay Options

Standard Homestay is suitable for older students who are confident of living relatively independently, but with the support of a caring home environment.

Homestay Plus families provide a higher level of support and supervision for younger students and is compulsory for students under the age of 16.

Both Standard Homestay and Homestay Plus are available at each of our centres.
