The Higher National Diploma (HND) will give you a comprehensive overview of business practices and disciplines, providing you with the real practical skills needed in today's competitive international business environment. Successful completion will open up many career opportunities for you. This practical and intensive programme allows you to gain an internationally recognised business qualification in just 12 months - half the time of a standard HND course.

Smaller classes for personal attention

Small classes mean that you will learn effectively and quickly.  Teaching is based on techniques including workshops, lectures and presentations.  You'll study the following 16 modules: Organisational Behaviour; Organisations, Competition and Environment; Marketing; Managing Financial Resources; Legal and Regulatory Framework; Management Information Systems; Quantitive Techniques for Business; Business Strategy; Management Accounting; Managing Activities; Managing Self; Managing People; Managing Information; Human Resource Management; Marketing Planning; and Quality Management.

The course is assessed by end of term exams and assignements and is validated by Edexcel.

Your path to a full degree

The HND is equivalent to the first and second year at university. It can lead to third year entry at various universities including: University of Brighton, University of Salford, University of Hertfordshire, University of Sunderland, Staffordshire University, De Montfort University and University of Portsmouth. Alternatively, you can join the Bellerbys BA Hons Business Management Top-Up Degree and complete your degree in just nine months.
