38 Brighton Students Receive Conditional Offers from Top 7 UK Universities

Saman AlavifardOnce again, many Bellerbys Brighton A Level students have been offered conditional places at some of the UK's top universities.  Seven students have conditional offers for Warwick University (ranked 7th in the UK by The Times), 11 for University College London (ranked 6th), seven for London School of Economics (ranked 4th), 11 for Imperial College (ranked 3rd) and two for Cambridge University (ranked 2nd).

Saman Alavifard, 19, from Tehran, is one of our first Iranian students to win an offer from Cambridge University.

Saman joined us here at Bellerbys Brighton in June 2005 on an English Language Preparation course.  He then progressed onto the three-term GCSE course which he completed in June 2006 with excellent grades - A* in Maths, Physics and Information Technology, A grades in Chemistry and Economics and a B grade in English.

He was awarded a partial scholarship to continue on the six-term A Level course which he began in September 2007.  Saman achieved A grades in AS Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and is also now studying AS English Literature.  He will take his final A Level exams in the coming weeks.

We are delighted that Saman has ended his journey with Bellerbys with a conditional offer from Churchill College, University of Cambridge to study Engineering in September.
