Ksenia Rostislavleva, 18, from Moscow, has won many prizes at Bellerbys Brighton since she joined as a GCSE student in 2006, including the prestigious Richard Ryde Scholarship Award.
She was delighted to learn that she had also gained outstanding grades in her A Level studies (Biology, Chemistry, French, Maths, Physics and Russian) and been able to confirm her place to study Biotechnology at Imperial College, London, where she will begin her degree studies in October 2009.
Dr. Elizabeth Cheng, her Maths teacher, observed: 'Ksenia is one of those students who seem to be good at everything! She got an A in A Level French and has also excelled at Maths and the Sciences. Clever and hardworking I am sure she will enjoy her degree level studies and go on to great things. Well done Ksenia!'
'Bellerbys has become like a second home to me. I am very grateful to my teachers and all the staff at the college. I have had a very happy time here and will miss it - but London is not far so I will be able to return and see how my friends are getting on. I am looking forward to the next challenge!' was Ksenia's view.
