Your bridge from Diploma to Masters
This course is ideal if you:
- are aged 21 or over
- have a Junior College Diploma or Higher National Diploma but do not have a first degree
- have not studied business before but want to go on to an MBA
- are keen to get a headstart by becoming familiar with UK culture and teaching pratices
Intensive preparation for a Masters degree
This unique course will prepare students for progression onto an MBA or business-related Masters programme by means of a combination English language training and academic business studies. Each week on the first two terms of the MQP you'll study:
- 10 hours of English for Academic Purposes & IELTS preparation
- 6 hours of Meeting and Seminar Skills or English Oral Presentation Skills
- 5 hours of Study Skills
- 4 hours of Case Studies in Business
If you are join the three term course, you'll also study Quantitive Methods, Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, GMAT Preparation (where appropriate), Economics and Business Law.
Towards the end of your course you will sit the IELTS exam and GMAT, if appropriate.

Successful completion of the MQP will qualify you for guaranteed entry onto Masters degrees at universities which recognise the programme. You will receive expert counselling to help you to choose the right university and postgraduate course for you, including visits to and from universities. You will also have time to become accustomed to UK culture meaning you can concentrate on your Masters without the added complication of cultural readjustment.
