"I enjoy the variety of teaching - no two days are the same.  I also love the energy and diverse personalities of young people.  My teaching style is quite relaxed and based on getting to know my students well.  This allows them to feel more comfortable in the class, so a positive learning environment is created, and also, by getting to know them as individuals, I am better able to tailor my teaching methods to my students.

The Media Foundation course at Bellerbys covers a wide variety of topics, both analytical and practical.  Students study a variety of different media, and learn how to analyse these, but also about the industries from which they were created.  There is a large amount of practical work, where students learn how to shoot and edit digital film and use photo-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.  Therefore, because the course is split half practical and half analytic, students are best equipped for a wider variety of Media, Advertising and Film degree courses at university."
