Ping Lin

"I'm studying Biology, double Maths, Physics and Chemistry A Levels at Bellerbys College.  I'll choose genetic engineering as my major at university.  I know it is difficult but I am trying my best to do it.

I enjoy my study life here.  The teachers are kind and responsible.  Having one teacher to eight students helps teachers make sure everyone can understand well.  Furthermore, they not only teach the knowledge in class but also help you deal with problems in life, just like your friends.  On the other hand, you can make many friends here no matter where you are from - we discuss homework and also play together.

I chose Cambridge because it is a university city and it is quiet, which is best for study.  It is a pretty and ancient city.  When you walk across the street, you can hear birds sing and enjoy beautiful scenery.  The life here is peaceful and relaxing.  I live in homestay which is just a five minute walk from school.  The family is pretty good and usually helps me a lot.  At weekends, I often search the internet and take a walk with my friends.  I also like travelling to some old towns in the UK on holidays.  I always have a good time there."
