"I chose Cambridge as the place to further my studies because it is quiet and peaceful place blessed with fantastic scenery.  Besides that, Cambridge has long been a famous university town.  In my opinion, I feel that Cambridge an ideal study environment, which is the main reason I chose Cambridge.

Furthermore, shopping in Cambridge is both exciting and convenient; the shops offer a wide and complete yet affordable range of high quality products.

The main difference between my friends and I is that I stay in the school’s accommodation while most of my friends stay with local host families.  chose to stay at the school’s accommodation because it gives me more freedom.  I can have my own space to think and learn independently.  Besides that, it also gives me the opportunity to make more new friends.  I personally feel that no matter where I stay, either with a host family or alone in the school’s accommodation, it is an effective method to nurture my independence both physically and mentally.

The teachers in Britain are very different compared to those in China.  The teaching method in China is somehow spoon-fed, the teachers give you all the information you need in order to score in examinations.  On the other hand, in Britain, things are quite different.  You have to depend on yourself greatly, do more self-study in order to get good grades in school.
