A Level Subject Availability

Students on the five or six-term A Level programme can study four subjects from the table below. Those on the shorter three-term programme choose three or four subjects.

While we encourage you to choose subjects you enjoy, we recommend the following choices in preparation for specific degree areas:

For Scientists and Engineers: Four subjects chosen from Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For Business, Humanities and Law students: Four subjects chosen from Maths, Economics, Accounts, Business Studies, English Literature and Psychology.
