John Rushton

"I joined Bellerbys Cambridge in 2002, having held a number of senior roles in education and business.  I've always had an “international” outlook on life and a strong desire to help educate people, whatever their background, and this drew me to Bellerbys.  I am now fortunate to lead one of the premier colleges in Cambridge. 

Working at Bellerbys is a fantastic experience.  The interaction with students and many staff, from such diverse backgrounds is both stimulating and humbling.  I believe we provide the best possible start to studying in the UK for our students, and I value the opportunity to be part of the process.  I like the sheer pace and variety of my role.  It is really an exciting life.

In my spare time, I enjoy boating, cycling and being part of the Investment Club in my village.  Although I no longer run, I have completed five marathons, including London."
