How long does it take to increase my IELTS score by one point?
On average, it will take 12 weeks of study, or one term, to IELTS score by one point. You can study up to three terms of English Language Preparation (ELP) prior to starting your academic course. We recommend that you engage and interact with local English people in daily life as much as possible. In our experience, we have found that students who practice their English during the evenings and weekends as well as study in the classroom, make better progress than those who study in the classroom only.
