Bellerbys Summer is open to students aged between 14 and 17 years of age. We provide a mix of academic, creative taster sessions and English study as follows:
- Age: 14-17
- Course length: 2 or 4 weeks
- Entry requirements: IELTS 3.5
- Fees: £950 per week, inclusive of tuition fees, full board accommodation (en-suite), activities and excursions. Please note that there is a £150 non-refundable enrolment fee payable in addition to the weekly fee.
- Accommodation: We offer an all-inclusive residential package at our Brighton and London colleges.
Improve your English and broaden your academic knowledge
At Bellerbys Summer Academic, we teach the study skills that help academic progression and provide the language skills required to help you be successful in specialist subject areas. English lessons take place in the morning and focus on developing your vocabulary, essay writing, research and debating skills, followed by Academic classes in the afternoon.
Bellerbys Brighton Academic
At Bellerbys Brighton you will take part in an excellent mix of academic subjects and have an opportunity to fully appreciate British culture through trips and visits.
Taster lesson in the following subject areas: Mathematics, Business & Economics, Social Sciences (Humanities) and Science.
Bellerbys London Academic
At our specialist college for business students, our summer school combines lessons in Business English, Business subjects and the opportunity to explore one of the world’s greatest capitals.
Taster lesson in the following subject areas: Business, Marketing, Management, Finance and IT for Business, with related enrichment activities which include Young Enterprise (setting up a business) and Investor Challenge.
Improve your English and nurture your creativity
Bellerbys Summer Creative is for students looking to improve their English and learn first-hand from art and media specialists. At all of our Colleges, English lessons take place in the morning and focus on developing your vocabulary, essay writing, research and debating skills, followed by Creative classes in the afternoon.
Students attending the Creative course in Brighton are able to be very hands on and gain practical experience with a taster lesson in the following subject areas: Art, Media and Photography.
Students attending Bellerbys Summer Academic or Creative courses are able to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and excursions. All or activities help to build well rounded students which is what universities are looking for.
In Brighton, below are some examples of the activities and excursions that Academic and Creative students can take part in:
Sport - Table-Tennis, Kick-Boxing, Street Dance/Hip-Hop, Circuit/Fitness Training, Yoga/Dynamic Stretching, Football, Tennis, Street Basketball, Badminton, Beach Volleyball.
Excursions - Arundel Castle, Paintballing, Rock-Climbing, Golf, Go-Kart Racing, London Sightseeing/River Cruise, Thorpe Park (Theme Park), Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
In London, Academic students can take part in a number of activities and excursions, for example:
Sport - Astroturf Football, Basketball, Swimming, Gym, Nike Running Clubs, Jogging in Greenwich Park, Cycling (traffic-free using Barclays Cycle Hire bicycles).
Walks and Tours - Beatles, Street Art, Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes, City of London, Westminster, Thames Path.
Weekend Excursions - Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Stonehenge and Bath, Thorpe Park (Theme Park) and Stratford-upon-Avon.
