Academic Enrichment Programme 2015-2016

Bellerbys Brighton took 19 lucky Science and Engineering students on a trip to London to see two exhibitions; The Medicine Man and Medicine Now.

The fascinating exhibitions were found in the Wellcome collection and both were an absolute must for any student hoping to get onto a medical related degree.

Medicine Man was an insightful and historical journey of how far we have come with our expectations of medicine. Medicine Now asked questions of current medical concerns, such as obesity and Genomes through art and installations.

To end the day there was still enough time to explore the building and experience other must see exhibitions such as Ann Veronica Janssens’: yellowbluepink a sensory installation reminding us of our interaction with the world.

Please keep a look out for future Science and Engineering trips in the coming terms… don’t miss out!

If you are interested in participating in any Academic Enrichment trips, please see the Enrichment Team for more information.
