Well, there are many answers to this question - many factors will influence your choice. For example, if you are tired of the noise and rush of a big city, you might choose to relax for a couple of years in a small town, somewhere in the East or South East of England, where you can enjoy yourself, study quietly and hard without interruption. The perfect places for that are the Cambridge and Oxford Bellerbys campuses. Another advantage of living there is that these two cities are so deeply steeped in education and research that you can actually feel it. There’s a reason that when you hear the words ‘Oxford’ or ‘Cambridge’ you connect them with the word ‘University’.

However, if you want to you can always hop on the train to London, the city of economics, politics and sightseeing attractions, which is only an hour away and experience that pulse which makes you run and explore everything you can in one day and of course have a lot of fun. Our Bellerbys London campus is located not far from the historic and financial centres of the capital of England, so you can enjoy views, culture and atmosphere all the time while being there. If you like to hang out with friends in your free time, have fun, be able to go shopping for half a day and get the full use of the concerts and gigs, then you may prefer to select the London or Brighton Campuses.

Bellerbys Brighton also has the benefit of being located by the sea, so during your spring or summer holiday break you can make full use of the beach, play volleyball with your friends there, sunbathe and even swim.

Every Bellerbys campus has its own advantages. In order to appreciate them, you should visit these places yourself, contact staff and see the cities where they are located. Talk to current students (a must!) - it is only from them you will receive the relevant feedback others cannot provide you. Don’t be shy, ask questions e.g. what you like/dislike about your college, what kind of specialisations are available, what kind of facilities are offered and are they of a good quality and so on. Also, you can take a tour around the accommodation and the college itself, so that you have a general overview of the campus and decide for yourself whether it would be suitable for you.

In general, London is the most urbanised area in the UK, plus some big cities like Manchester and Birmingham. If you like being in a fast-paced, busy and exciting environment then these places are right for you. We can also add Brighton to that list.

As a rule of thumb, the further you go from London, the less people you’ll see, the area will become more rural and there will be more wildlife. So, if you like a relaxed pace and being surrounded by a calm atmosphere, go and look at the map of the UK and choose a place you think you are the most attracted to.  With transport links around the country by rail or road you can always take day trips to other regions to get a change of scenery.

Bellerbys College has made good decisions about where to locate its campuses around the UK. It has made it possible for students to have a choice regarding the environment they will be in whilst studying abroad.  These choices enable students to feel confident and happy at college so they can succeed in their studies.

Good luck to you when making your choice too!
