The UK is known for the brilliance of its education system all around the world and there are many reasons why this is so. If you’re thinking of whether to study in the UK or not, I suggest you should go for it. London is a very multicultural city - more than 50% of students in London are from another country. Despite the awful weather, the beautiful architecture is always there to cheer us. It is a city that spells fun!

My name is Abbe and I’m from Bellerbys College London. I’ve been here for 2 years and I would love to share a bit of my experience with you. Well first of all, I come from a very isolated country (Australia ). I cannot explain my excitement when I arrived here in the UK, it felt as though I had escaped from the wild life. I have met so many people from the otherside of the world and it is AMAZING. I have made friends with mexicans, colombians, russians, nigerians (it goes on..) and I’ve learnt a lot about their fascinating cultures. There is much more to engage in, apart from your studies, there are always events within and outside college, for instance concerts, cirque de soleil and so much more.

I personally think that studying overseas provides a lifetime opportunity for students to reach further towards their chosen career and believe it or not it’s actually life changing. After coming to the UK, I realise that I have developed a different approach towards my studies and I am more responsible and independent.

I have definitely made the right choice coming to the UK for my Foundation Law course at Bellerbys College as I know that studying in England gives me a broader choice and I am making progress towards my chosen career in the future.
