Nationality:  Kenyan

Bellerbys centre you studied at: Bellerbys College Cambridge

Course(s) studied at Bellerbys: A-Level

University and programme you hope to progress to: Warwick University, Economics

What I most enjoyed about my time at Bellerbys was the fun I had socialising and learning with all my new friends from so many different countries; the best A-level teachers anyone could ever hope for; and the coolest staff and student services ever!

Bellerbys helped prepare me for my further studies with its teachers who always encouraged individual thought, interest in my chosen subject of study, accountability for my time, self-expression, keeping abreast of the current developments and news, and finally, hard work.

Activities like debating and being part of the SRC really helped me with my social skills, teamwork and critical thinking. I also had the opportunity to immerse myself in the British culture amongst other fresh international students before joining university.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without Bellerbys because it has been the most important stepping-stone to identify and achieve my life’s goals. Furthermore, I’m pretty sure that some of the friends I have made here will stick with me for a long time.
