Idaly Mackenzie

I am at present teaching English Language Preparation part-time but I have taught English at Foundation level and English and French A level full-time in the past.

As I am so interested in languages, I took an MA in Linguistics a few years ago.  I have wide experience in teaching from young people through to Business English to adults.

The time I have spent teaching at Bellerbys has been a very happy one due mainly to the pleasure and satisfaction I have gained from the students themselves. Although the academic progress of students is clearly very important, I believe also that their pastoral welfare needs a good deal of attention since I am sure that a happy student is a successful student.

I have many interests including cooking, music and travel.
